Life planner

My very own Erin Condren 2017 Life Planner finally came in! The Erin Condren Life planner is a detailed planner one can customize anyway they want. The planner has detachable covers that one can change whenever they want. The covers look like dry erase. This is my first Life planner and I am really excited to use it. My planner comes with a full view calendar for 18 months, a hourly day to day organizer, a section just for notes, reminder stickers, write on stickers, a detachable ruler/book mark, and a mini folder. I find planners are a very helpful tool for organization, perfect for a college student like me. The planner even came with a cute, free little book to write things down in. Here's a link to check it out! https://www.erincondren.com/

Anime Expo

For those of you who don't know, I have been in California the past week or so. I will be making travel outfits and travel/packing tips later as well as a food restaurant list with a link of my yelp reviews! This week's post, will be different from all of that! I went to Anime Expo! It was my very first anime convention and it had its ups and downs. Being my first convention I went with my uncle and we didn't really know what to expect (No I didn't cosplay). I had a standard 4 day pass, not the premium (those were like $300 more) so I had to wait in a 1 in a half to 2 hours (sometimes longer) line to get into the panels I wanted. The worst line I would say was the line to pick up our badges  (our pass to get in to the convention) because people made fake lines which made everything chaotic and the staff had to fix it which took even longer! I kind of feel bad for the staff.  That being said I loved everything else! I got to meet some of my favorite youtubers, I saw some really awesome cosplay, the food trucks were good, and I got a weird tan line. Also I got to see and listen to two amazing mangaka! It was truly amazing! I would so do this again (just pay for the premium because I hate long lines)! I encourage anyone who likes anime, managa, or comics to go to a convention! I didn't take as many pictures as I wanted but here are some: This first one is with one of my favorite youtubers domics! Go check him out!The second picture was for a contest I participated in for an anime called Your Lie in April. We had to run around and solve riddles, it was fun! The Third one is of a guy who cosplayed as my favorite anime character! The last few pictures are from the sailor moon panel. It has some of the English voice actors from the show along with official cosplay characters

A Work in Progress

Today's post will be a little bit different then my other posts. I recently started reading a book called A Work in Progress by Connor Franta. I almost finished this beautiful book in one sitting! I may not be done with this book yet but I had to share it with everyone. For those of you who don't know Connor Franta is a vlogger on Youtube (vlogger is a video blogger), but that's not all he is. Connor is a kind, artistic, and creative boy from Minnesota. He is a boy who has just as many scars as the rest of us. Connor is someone I admire a great deal. All bias aside, this really is a great book. It made me self-reflect on my life and the things I do. This book is an autobiography and is something many can relate to. It really delivers the message "Don't be afraid to be yourself and go after what you truly want."
